萨其马的由来

关于萨其马名字的由来，有多种传说，其中有两个版本比较典型。“版本一”充满了民族情绪。相传清代广州某将军姓萨，他特别喜欢骑马打猎。每次打猎归来都要吃点心，而且要求不能重样。一次，背负沉重创新压力的厨子，不小心将蘸了鸡蛋清的点心炸碎了。可是此时，将军已经在催着上点心，他只好端了上去。原以为会被责罚，不料将军吃了赞不绝口，还问这种点心叫什么名字？厨子随口说“杀骑马” ，后来这道点心的名字被写成文字，便成了 “萨其马” 。

后来“萨其马”流传到马来西亚霹雳州怡保，再经过多次改良之后， 口感松酥绵软，香甜可口。樂記餅家出产的全蛋萨奇马更是使用新鲜鸡蛋加上麦芽和黑糖，也成为了怡保十大手信之一。
